Oh, what a tender moment to see my toddler kissing her baby goodnight - but then notice that the babydoll in her other hand was upside down!

That’s a picture of how parenting felt so much of the time - like even my best efforts still lacked. But God reminds me that he was present and watching over all of my moments with great care.
